\nIt is a mysterious motif from the Belgian Surrealist painter Ren\u00e9 Magritte, which he executed in several variations. Magritte\u2019s depiction of a sculptured head inspired the Viennese author Susanne Ayoub to write this \u201c\u00d61 Art Story,\u201d in which she gives this art object a new provenance and interpretation.<\/em><\/p>\n
