The author and filmmaker Susanne Ayoub<\/em> <\/strong>presents her film Alma\u2019s Little Photographer<\/em> about the last contemporary witness who knew Alma Mahler-Werfel and her family personally.<\/p>\n

Seven of Erich Rietenauer\u2019s 90 years were so extraordinary that they determined the course of the rest of his life. As a small boy from impoverished circumstances at a Christmas party given by the politician Julius Tandler, he was suddenly face-to-face with a lady from high society. He never forgot her eyes of \u201csteel blue,\u201d her fragrance, or her embrace. Her name was Alma Mahler-Werfel.<\/p>\n
