She works in radio and film.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><!--more-->Dr. phil. Born Nov, 27,1956 in Baghdad, Irak.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000080;\">She lives in Vienna.<\/span><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><em>Studied theater studies, art history, and philosophy.<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><em>Producer, dramaturge, and director for the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation (ORF).<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><em>Stage plays, film scripts, audio dramas.<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><em>Founded the theater group TRIO, for which she wrote plays and staged productions.<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><em>1999 Writer in Residence at the International Writers Colony Ledig House, NY.<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><em>2008 Guest professorship at Bowling Green State University, Ohio.<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><em>Her works have been translated into English, French, Norwegian, Arabic, and Kurdish.<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><em>In addition to working as a writer, she is a filmmaker.
